What to do in an Earthquake at school
At most public schools, earthquake drills are held at least once a month.
What to do if you’re in Class-
If an earthquake strikes when you’re in a classroom, the best thing to do is get under your desks, head first, and to hold on to the legs of the desk until the quake is over. After that your teacher will lead you out of the building and takes you to your meeting point then your teacher will call the roll to make sure everybody is there and safe.
What to do if you’re outside at break time-
If a quake hits when you are in the schoolyard, you should gather in the middle point, away from the school building. After the earthquake, assemble at the meeting point and your teacher will call the roll to make sure everybody is there and safe.
